The eVoice mobile app for iOS or Android devices transforms your smartphone into a comprehensive business-phone system, allowing you to manage your business communications from anywhere. With the app, you can:
- Make and receive calls
- Screen unwanted calls
- Route calls
- Record calls
- Place calls on hold
- Use speed dial, and more (refer to Phone-Menu Navigation for details).
- Access voicemail transcriptions (if Voicemail-to-Text is enabled).
- Send and receive business-text messages and faxes using local and toll-free numbers.
- Utilize your existing personal contacts stored on your phone.
Please note that the eVoice app cannot be used for emergency (911) calls.
Additionally, any changes made to messages in your online account will automatically sync with your mobile app, as they share the same Message Center.
Auto Attendant and Direct Dial Number:
If you have multiple numbers, you cannot be logged in to more than one at a time. To make calls and display the desired number on outgoing calls, log in with the specific number you wish to use.
Enable Permisions:
From your iOS Settings app
- Select Apps
- Select eVoice
- Select Contacts, Cellular Data and notifications to enable
From your iOS Settings app
- Scroll to your app list and select eVoice from the options
- Toggle contacts, Cellular Data to enable
From your Android settings:
- Select Apps
- Select Manage Apps
- Select the eVoice App from the listing
- Select App Permissions
- Select Contacts, Location or Phone and select Allow or Don’t Allow
From your Android settings:
- Select Apps
- Select See All Apps
- Select the eVoice App from the listing
- Select Permissions
- Select Contacts, Location or Phone and select Allow or Don’t Allow
Access the mobile application by tapping the eVoice logo:
Log In |
On the Login screen, enter your phone number and password. (Note: eVoice messaging accounts cannot log into the app.) Enable the "Remember Me On" option to have eVoice remember your login information for future use, then tap Sign In. (Note: Upon the first app launch, pop-up notifications will appear, prompting you to enable "push" notifications, acknowledging that eVoice cannot be used for 911 calls, and briefly demonstrating the keyboard's primary features.) |

Access the application's Settings, Help documentation, Feedback, and Logout by tapping More in the action bar. Your currently logged-in eVoice number will be displayed at the top. Within the Settings screen, you can:

Keypad | The Keypad is the default screen upon login. Dial a number using the keypad and tap Call to place a call. Business-text messages can also be sent by entering the number and tapping the text icon. To add a number to your device's native contacts list, enter the number and tap the add-contact icon. |
Call Logs | Access a list of inbound and outbound calls to the eVoice number (excluding mobile-app calls) within the last 30 days by tapping Call Logs (Android) or Recents (iOS). Missed calls can be viewed by tapping Missed. |
Messages | For Android: Access the Inbox to view messages split into four tabs: All messages, Text messages, Voicemail messages, and Trash. For iOS: Access the Inbox to view messages split into four tabs: Voicemail, Faxes, Text messages, and Trash. Message details can be viewed by tapping the message. Various actions, such as playing the message, calling back, replying, forwarding, or adding to contacts, can be performed based on the message type and device platform. |
Contacts | Access the device's native Contacts list by selecting Contacts from the toolbar. Tap an individual's name to view Contact Info and choose to call, text, or fax them. |
Speed Dial | The Speed-Dial List can be accessed through Contacts. Tap Call next to the desired entry to initiate a call. |
Log Out | To log out of the account, tap More and select Logout. To exit the application while remaining logged in, tap the device's Home button. |
