What is Call Routing?
Call Routing controls how eVoice connects your incoming calls to your phone. You can forward incoming calls based on day or time, or create Caller ID rules that forwards based on the caller's phone number.
Basic Users can only make changes to their own Call Routing.
Administrator and Power Users have access to log in to any user to make changes to the Call Routing.
Basic Call Routing:
1. First Option: Dial Sequentially: Your eVoice app will receive incoming calls in the order of the way you have your numbers listed in Account Manager.
Adding numbers to your routing list in Account Manager:
- Click on Call Routing
- Click Edit
- Choose Dial Sequentially
- Click Add Number to List
- Select the number you want to add or click add new number
- Click Save
Helpful Hint: You will want to keep your rings to 5 or less to ensure that all the numbers you have listed in your routing list will be activated until a user answers. Keeping your rings too high might lead the call to go to voicemail, considering it being answered by a user.
2. Second Option: Dial Simultaneously: All numbers on your Call Routing List will ring at the same time.
- Click on Call Routing
- Click Edit
- Choose Dial Simultaneously
- Click Add Number to List
- Select the number you want to add or click add new number
- Click Save

Keep in Mind: If this is selected the system automatically sets the new profile as the active one after creation. If this option is not selected the system will create the profile and the user can activate it at a later time.
